CHEMEXCIL | Regarding Extension in SB005 alternate mechanism

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) has issued Circular No. 05 /2021-Customs (N.T.) dated 17th February 2021 regarding Extension in SB005 alternate mechanism. BIC has been decided to measure trade facilitation to keep the Officer Interface available permanently to resolve such errors on payment of a specified fee by the exporter.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) has published Notification No. 17/2021-Customs (N.T.) dated 17th February 2021 concerning Levy of Fees (Customs Documents) Amendment Regulations, 2021. CBIC has notified Rs. 1000.00 fees for Handling of mismatch between Shipping Bill and GST returns in Customs Automated System.

India's global seafood exports during the 2019-20 financial year were valued at US$6.68 billion. Exports to China, valued at US$1.37 billion then, have fallen by around 40 per cent in worth between April and December last year, compared with the same period in 2019. China's rigorous testing of Indian seafood consignments comes when the two countries are engaging in a proxy tit-for-tat war that has also led to India banning a host of Chinese apps.

FINANCIAL EXPRESS | Govt to infuse Rs 1,500 cr into Exim Bank next fiscal

The government has decided to infuse Rs 1,500 crore capital into state-owned Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) in the next financial year. The amount is Rs 200 crore higher than the provision made by the government for the current fiscal. The government has earmarked Rs 1,300 crore capital infusion for the bank.
