Carrier's Lien is the right of an individual or organization or carrier (a company which is in the business of transporting goods) that publicly advertises itself as for hire for the transportation of goods to keep possession of the cargo that it has delivered to a destination until the person who is liable to pay the freight charges plus any other expenses that have been incurred by its shipment has done so.
