Če se ukvarjate z izvozom in uvozom blaga, boste seznanjeni z harmoniziranim sistemom za označevanje in kodiranje blaga, bolj znan kot harmonizirani sistem (HS) ali harmonizirani sistem nomenklature (HSN). Gre za splošno sprejeto metodo razvrščanja blaga, s katerim se trguje. Njegova glavna naloga je pomagati carinskim organom pri prepoznavanju proizvodov in ocenjevanju pravih dajatev in davkov na njih. V harmoniziranem sistemu je vsakemu izdelku dodeljena edinstvena številčna koda, imenovana oznaka HS.
