Nepal government has asked the Indian government to allow Nepali traders to export tea and refined palm oil in the Indian market. Refined palm oil and tea are two top items from Nepal to be exported to India. India stopped importing refined palm oil and tea even before Nepal's objection to the road inauguration by the Indian government through Lipu Lekh Pass.

3F Oil Palm Agrotech, an oil palm player, has launched 3F Akshaya, an Android mobile app for oil palm farmers. To begin with, about 20,000 oil palm farmers of Andhra Pradesh will get access to the app. They can monitor details of transactions including ledger balances and plot data.

Adani Logistics Services Private Limited, a unit of Adani Logistics Ltd, will shut its inland container depot (ICD) at Kanech in Punjab's Ludhiana district from June 25. India's cotton exports could rise to 4.7 million bales, up 12 per cent from the previous estimate. The fall in the value of the rupee made shipments competitive. The government has not allocated any quota for import of yellow peas this year because of bumper production of chana. To ensure safety and boost local manufacture, BIS certification is set to be made mandatory for tyres and tubes. According to the BIS directive, all types of tyres and tubes for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger cars and commercial vehicles would now need BIS marking to be sold in the city.
