Following a Covid-19 outbreak in the port area and nearby Guangzhou in late May, YICT’s operations were interrupted by prevention and restriction measures. Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT) has informed customers that the bottleneck at the port had eased, and normal operations would resume by the end of the month.

India’s instant coffee export is one of the bright spots in the economic remnants wrought by the pandemic, experiencing a huge jump so far in 2021. Instant coffee export vaulted by about 124% to 12,078 tonnes from January 1 to June 11 from a year ago, per the latest Coffee Board data.

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), in association with the state agriculture department and Bhagalpur district agriculture department, has exported the first consignment of Geographical Indications (GI) tagged Jardalu mangoes to London on Monday.

China has passed the Hainan Free Trade Port Law with immediate effect due to its ongoing efforts to develop a globally influential free trade port in Hainan province. The law was adopted on 10 June by the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, China's top legislature, providing the country a legal guarantee in pursuit of building a high-quality free trade port in Hainan island.
