Clothing manufacturers in Dhaka and the port city of Chittagong have been permitted to resume work by following strict measures. Wearing masks, washing hands at the entrance, undergo temperature checks, and physical distancing are some of them.

The commerce ministry reduced the import quota for green peas to 75,000 tonnes for 2020-21 and has laid down a procedure for its inbound shipments. According to the DGFT, there is no quota for import of yellow peas for the current fiscal. It said the import would be allowed only to the millers/refiners.
