With effect from November 1, 2020 HAPAG LLOYD will revise the Import Detention (Carrier’s Haulage) Charges and the Freetime in the USA. Charges in the state of California are not applicable on weekends and bank holidays.

With effect from November 1, 2020 HAPAG LLOYD will revise the Export Detention (Carrier’s Haulage) Charges and the Freetime in the USA. Charges in the state of California are not applicable on weekends and bank holidays. Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are excluded. All temperature controlled levels remain unchanged

Experts claim the move will most likely benefit China and Pakistan in the international market. Amid increasing scrutiny of Chinese exports to India, the government has started a probe into alleged dumping of a chemical that's used in pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries. The commerce ministry's investigation wing registered the inquiry after a complaint by a domestic manufacturer, Cabot Sanmar Ltd. The probe wing will investigate the charges of dumping of 'untreated Fumed Silica' by Chinese and South Korean manufacturers.

Ruhollah Latifi said that saffron accounted for 70 percent of the total value, and 0.5 percent of the total weight of the export during the mentioned five-month period. The IRICA spokesman further said that the Iranian spices have been exported to 43 countries in the first five months of this year and mentioned Azerbaijan, Britain, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Kuwait, Qatar, Afghanistan, Turkey, Armenia, Germany, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, India, the Netherlands, Indonesia, France, and Switzerland as some export destinations of the products.
