The fishmeal industry, which makes aquatic feeds, has requested the Centre to decrease GST rates on fish meal and its by-products such as fish soluble paste/stick water and fish oil. The current rates are 5% for fish meal, 18% for fish soluble paste and 12% to fish oil.
