The Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC) has been identified as the Nodal Department for implementing the provisions of the Order for the Chemicals and petrochemicals sector for giving preference to local suppliers in public procurement. DCPC has already identified 28 products in which there are sufficient capacity and regional competition, and the procurement of these items is to be made from local suppliers.
