The South India Corrugated Box Manufacturers’ Association (SICBMA) has requested the Centre to impose an urgent ban on the export of kraft paper in any form. Kraft paper is the main raw material in the production of corrugated boxes. Export of Kraft paper has shrunk the supply by more than 50% in the local market in recent months.

AEPC said that the production LinkedIn Incentive scheme for human-made fibre and the creation of seven mega textile parks in the country would benefit the production and export of the sector.   Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) Chairman A Sakthivel said the MMF garment industry in India is poised for fast growth as the government has agreed to promote the sector.

A higher incidence of rejection of IGST Scrolls due to Invalid IFSC (TPE0014) is being noticed, which is expected to increase further in the future. All stakeholders are directed to identify their bank accounts which are under process of a merger or already merged and update their new IFSC codes along with account number through online Bank management/AD code registration facility provided on the ICEGATE website using the ‘modify option,’ as per Public Notice 93/2020 dated 29.07.2020 and 130/2020 dated 07.10.2020.

Vide notification dated 09.10.2019, FSSAI had notified Authorised officers at 150 food import Points of Entries under Section 25 read with Section 47 (5) of FSS Act and Regulation 13(1) of FSS (Import) Regulations, 2017. FSSAI has partially modified it with effect from 10.03.2021 for the jurisdiction of food import entry points mentioned in Annexure 1 for the clearance process.
