From Monday the 8th of March until Sunday, the 14th of March, Maersk Myanmar will temporarily suspend activities. Vessel operations continue as planned. However, non-ocean activities in offices, warehouses, depots have been ceased.

Data from the Road Haulage Association (RHA) manifests empty lorries leaving the UK accounted for 26% of all truck movements into the EU, with total loaded haulage exports down 47% last month, compared with last year. More than a quarter of the trucks crossing into the EU from the UK are traveling empty, as Brexit eats into UK export figures.

India's mango season has started this month for two of the varieties, with a third variety starting in early April. Demand has been rather solid for this stage of the season, despite prices still not being at the regular level they were two years ago. The mangos are cheaper than they were last season, though, despite the high freight costs.
