Air Cargo Complex has issued Public Notice No. 146/2021 dated 11 March 2021 regarding receipt ofeBRC for the exports made during the period of 01 April 2014 to 31 March 2020, as per RBI BRC Module. The RBI BRC Module (RBI MIS Reports), launched on 26.06.2014, is applicable for S/Bills with LetExport Order (LEO) dates from 01 April, 2014 onwards.

Because of the congestion in the ports of the UK (London Gateway + Southampton), the operational costs have significantly increased over the past weeks. CMA CGM will be increasing the Port Congestion Surcharge from India to all UK ports (London Gateway + Southampton). It will be USD 200 per TEU.

Exporters fear the rates may turn out to be lower than recommended by a technical committee as the government prepares to notify refund rates under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme. The government has budgeted only Rs 13,000 crore for the RoDTEP scheme for FY22, which is way below its initial estimated annual cost of Rs 50,000 crore.

India imposes anti-dumping duty on the Chinese antibacterial drug Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride to guard the domestic industry against cheap imports from neighboring countries. Following a recommendation by the commerce ministry’s investigation arm, the duty was imposed, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).
